Beaujolais nouveau - 17 novembre

"In other news, Korean Air Cargo delivered 1,400 tons of Beaujolais Nouveau to Korea and Japan on 1 November 2011.
Beaujolais Nouveau, a celebrated red wine, is produced in Beaujolais, a region next to the Burgundy wine region of France. The release of this early wine – the third Thursday of November every year – has become an internationally-renowned festival.
Beaujolais Nouveau is being brought into the region on almost 15 Boeing 747-400 cargo aircraft.  Formerly, these wines could take up to two weeks to transport, but Korean Air Cargo has made a commitment to deliver the Beaujolais Nouveau fresh within days. To ensure that the quality of this wine is preserved, Korean Air has minimized cabin vibration, maintains the appropriate temperature, and assigns a dedicated cargo expert to each flight to closely monitor the wines".
